A local, woman-owned company bringing Charleston’s haunted history, legends, and laughs to life on walking tours. Think chills, thrills, and giggles all in one!

Ghost walks (non-drinking), pub crawls (optional spirits), extended adventures, and private/custom tours. Something for everyone, from casual spectres to premium scares!

Between 90 minutes and 3 hours, averaging about a mile of walking with lots of stops for storytelling, laughs, and maybe a ghostly peek.

Are the tours scary?

Our tours are spooky and atmospheric but not extreme horror experiences. Expect eerie history, true ghost stories, Southern gothic vibes, and humor woven throughout.

Are the ghost stories real?

Yes! Rooted in history, folklore, and eyewitness accounts. But remember: ghosts are tricky—appearances aren’t guaranteed.

Can you guarantee ghost sightings or paranormal activity?

No. While we do our best to create an immersive and eerie experience, ghost activity, paranormal encounters, or spiritual communication are never guaranteed.

Do tours go inside buildings?

Mostly outdoors, except bars, pubs, or special arrangements. We tell stories safely from outside fences or gates for historic sites. No outside food or drinks allowed inside these establishments.

Are you affiliated with the locations?

  • Circular Congregational Church: enter only if gates are open; must leave by 6 PM.

  • Saint Philip’s Church Graveyard: storytelling from outside the fence only.

  • Residential streets: no tour traffic after 6 PM - noise ordinance & tourism police

Why are other tours sometimes inside the graveyard after 6:00 PM?

That graveyard is always closed to the public at 6:00 PM. One company has purchased exclusive evening access rights. History, Haunts, & Hahas! does not hold those rights and must follow posted access rules.

If it's any consolation, that tour group is sober, public, and has to hang out with strangers & their children - ew!

Rainbow Row, Washington Square Park, the Circular Congregational Church graveyard, and many Charleston streets are residential.

After 6:00 PM, tours may not linger in or walk through certain residential areas. If visiting these locations is important to you, please let us know so your tour can be scheduled accordingly.

Powder Magazine, Old Exchange, Provost Dungeon: entry possible during museum hours with advance notice; separate fees apply.

View from above, but tunnels are off-limits. Safety first, spooky second.

About a mile on uneven streets—stopping often for stories and photos.
