7/30/26 Note: Skimming over this looking for something that stuck out to me,
I found the words “burned tavern keeper”
and researched “Charleston sc burned tavern keeper. Results synopsis showed the papers of Edward McGrady, tavern keeper, burned in the Great Fire of 1861. Here are the URLs attached to this result.
Interestingly enough, I’ve skimmed over my session transcription log a handful of times and can’t seem to find the “burned tavern keeper” note I certainly saw and was inspired by.
