A Toast to the Ghost Roast by History, Haunts, & Hahas! blends 3 carefully selected historic and/or reportedly haunted bars with approximately 1 mile of walking through Charleston's fascinating past. The result is a social, energetic evening where every stop adds another chapter to the story. This isn't simply a bar crawl with ghost stories added in. Every featured bar is chosen because it has history worth sharing, reported hauntings worth exploring, or a fascinating Charleston story waiting to be uncovered. While you enjoy an optional drink, the investigation continues through documented history, reported paranormal experiences, employee testimony, folklore, & the historical context unique to that location. Using the principles of Ghost Forensics, we'll follow the historical breadcrumbs that connect Charleston's people, places, and reported hauntings while exploring the human behind the haunting. Whether you're a believer, skeptic, or simply curious, you'll be invited to investigate—not told what to believe. Questions, conversation, laughter, and curiosity are always encouraged. A limited number of EMF readers may be available to add another layer of immersion, although paranormal activity can never be guaranteed. Every guest also receives a complimentary souvenir hat to remember the evening.
